Mold Toxicity: Why Mold Removal is Needed to Protect Your Health

Black mold sets off alarm for many homeowners in Albany to reach out to a mold removal specialist. Though these kinds of mold, (there are many sub categories of black mold), are dangerous, they are not the only type that can impact your health. White mold for instance can cause allergic reactions such as itchy eyes, or in more severe cases, fatigue, and headaches. There are seven colors of mold. Green Mold

Green mold.
In bathrooms or other areas that have received water damage you may notice a layer of green mold forming. This type of mold is known to make mycotoxins, a harmful agent to humans and their pets.

Black Mold

The most recognized for its danger, black mold comes in a range of color, from gray to dark black. Black mold loves moisture so is often found in damp environments, specifically those that are warm.

Yellow Mold

Yellow mold.
Known to thrive on wood, damaging its integrity, yellow mold also can lead to health issues for those with compromised or weak immune systems.

Brown Mold
